R-DNA is a New York–based DJ and curator whose work centers self-liberation and belonging — on the dancefloor and beyond. Shaped by an upbringing in Ukraine and early classical training, their selections are guided by a belief in the meditative, healing power of electronic music. Their sets build long emotional arcs — layered and percussive — moving between hypnotic groove and peak-time pressure via extended blends and subtle shifts. As a Newtown Radio resident, R-DNA hosts tension/release, a techno-rooted, genre-fluid show spotlighting emerging queer and FLINTA* artists in NYC and beyond.
